আমরা কি পারি না শিশু চিংরুং ম্রো ঘাতক টিউমার'কে নিঃশেষ করে দিতে- "আসুন আমরা সবাই শিশুটির জন্য সহযোগিতার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিই"

বান্দরবান সদর উপজেলার টংকবতী ইউনিয়নে ১৬ মাইল বাগান পাড়ার সিংরাও ম্রো আর পাইংপাউ ম্রো একমাত্র সন্তান চিংরুং ম্রো। শিশুটির বয়স মাত্র ১১ মাস। থানচি সদর ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান মাংসা ম্রো ফেইসবুক পেজে শিশুটির ছবি দেখে যোগাযোগ করি। অতপর জানতে পারি, শিশুটির বাবা-মা কৃষি কাজ করে সংসার চালায়, সন্তানের অপারেশন করানোর মত তাদের নেই কোন বিশাল সম্পত্তি।
যখন চেয়ারম্যান মহোদয় কে আরো কিছু প্রশ্ন করি তখন তিনি বলেন, শিশুটি জন্মের পর থেকে টিউমার রোগে আক্রান্ত হয়েছে। শিশুটির বাবা-মার জমাকৃত কিছু সম্বল-সম্পত্তি বিক্রয় করে বান্দরবান ইম্মানুয়েল ক্লিনিকের মেডিক্যাল অফিসার ডাঃ জ্যোতিময় নিকট নিয়ে যান এবং কিছু দিন চিকিৎসা করেন। কিন্তু সেখানে চিকিৎসার কোন পরির্বতন না দেখে বাড়িতে নিয়ে আসে।
আগামিকাল ১১ মে ২০১৬ইং তারিখ শিশুটিকে চট্রগ্রামে টিউমার বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তারের কাছে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে। সেখানে গিয়ে সকল পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা করা হবে আর এ দেশে শিশুটির অপারেশন করা যাবে কি না এবং অপারেশনেরর জন্য কত খরচ লাগবে তা ডাক্তারের সহিত আলোচনা করার পর জানা যাবে বলে মাংসা ম্রো জানান।
বর্তমানে শিশুটির বাবা-মার অবস্থা খুবই করুন ও অসহায়। পারছে না আর নিজ সন্তানের অপারেশন খরচ যোগাড় করতে। যার কারণে সমাজের বিত্তবানদের সহযোগিতা কামনা করেছেন শিশুটির বাবা-মা।
সমাজের কোন বিত্তবান বা কোন প্রবাসী বন্ধু যদি শিশুটির রোগের বিস্তারিত তথ্য এবং তার সু-চিকিৎসার জন্য সহযোগিকার হাত বাড়াতে চান তাহলে নিচে নাম্বারে যোগাযোগ করতে পারেন।

Can’t we remove the killer tumor of Ching Rung Mro?
“Let’s extend our helping hands for the child.”
Ching Rung M¬¬ro is the only child of Sing Raw Mro and Paing Pa U Mro from the village of the “16-Mile-Bagan Para”, located at the Tongkaboti Union of Bandarban Upazilla. She is now only 11 month old. It was learnt from the Mangsa Mro, Chairman of the Thanchi U.P that parents of the child maintain their family by farming; they, therefore, can’t afford the cost needed for the operation of their only child’s tumor.
Mr. Mangsa also informed that the child has been suffering from tumor just after her birth, and was undergoing treatment under the supervision of Dr. Joutimoy, Medical Officer of Immanuel Clinic in Bandarban. For no progress, the child will be brought to tumor specialist in Chittagong, the divisional city, on 11th May 2016. After all checkups, it will be learnt from doctor whether her operation will be possible in the country and also what the possible cost would be for it.
At present, condition of her parents is helpless and miserable as they have spent all they had for the treatment of the only child. So, they urge for the assistance from the generous and philanthropists all around the world.
